The Duke LifeFlight Project
I'm starting on an Agusta 109 project and it's going to be more than a simple "assemble and fly" job. The kit is a base 109 Century .30 size kit with Hawk mechanics. The Duke Lifeflight helis are A-109 E Power helis so there will be some mods needed to the fuse to go that route. I'll list those changes needed below. I'm getting contact and assistance from one of the individuals on the DLF teams and that help is invaluable to making these changes. I'm definitely looking forward to making this ship. I doubt I'll go so far as to get the 4-blade head, but we'll see once I have the ship built. Switching out the head and putting a 4-blade gyro on it will be minor compared to the changes needed to the fuse. I plan to make the whole thing as close to "drop in" as I can.

**Update - 08-30-04** I've gotten the mechanics built up and about ready for Flight testing. See this page for more details.
